PROJECT TITLE:- DESIGN FOR NATIONAL CANCER CENTER (DIAGNOSTIC & RADIOTHERAPY)  –  KERRY TOWN OFF PENNISULAR ROAD                                      

NARRATIVE DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT:-

The site is located along the eastern part of the Peninsular Road. It is easily accessible from the hinterland and the capital Freetown.

It is a wide expense of land with a gentle slope from the main road up towards the surrounding Hills. It is mainly lateritic in nature with a good bearing capacity; the Geotechnical Report will give the precise nature of the strata.

On the east is the Peninsula road; on the northern boundary is the main access from peninsular road into the Site. On the western boundary is an all-year-round river (Perennial). It rises gradually to surrounding Hills on the southern boundary.

The site is covered by vegetation; with a few scattered trees.
